Our group promotes non-sexual, nude social events in East Texas. Please consider joining if you are interested in participating in nudist events in a social setting with people who love to spend time with others in their own skin. Social nudity is the practice of removing the shame that we culturally place on our bodies. We love and appreciate the gift of our human body in all forms. That’s what makes it beautiful. Frequently Asked Questions
Nude recreation embraces the joy of living and experiencing our body in the most natural way possible. To relax and be nude is to let yourself be totally free. We enhance our self-esteem by accepting ourselves as we really are. We find it easy to accept others regardless of physical size, shape, or body condition. Moreover, social class distinctions, often indicated by clothing, disappear.
Relaxation, stress relief, positive body image, and increasing self-esteem are just a few of the reasons people choose nude experiences.
We like to get naked in a wholesome way! When it's warm, we have pool parties and visit local nudist resorts. We play water volleyball, body paint, run naked 5Ks, or just hang out at members' pools (and hot tubs!) while enjoying the company of like-minded folks. All without ever having to worry about wet swimming suits or tan lines!
When it's cold, we have hot tub parties, heated pool parties, theme parties, game nights, movie nights, and much more. Basically, any reason we can think of to get together and have a party! Some people drink; some people don't, but we all enjoy the sense of community.
You’ll find a cross section of society, with people representing all colors, religions, occupations, body types, age groups, and income brackets. Without clothes, however, it’s less likely you’ll know a bank president from a bus driver.
East Texas Naturists (ETN) is a private organization and social club dedicated to maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and positive nude environment. This Code of Conduct outlines the behavioral standards required of all members and guests to protect the club's reputation and ensure a safe experience. Violations may result in a warning, temporary suspension, immediate termination of membership, or just not invited back.

You will feel right at home. Our group is made up of people of all shapes and sizes. That's the best part. We're not worried about how you look if you're not worried about how we look. We're trying to love the body we have.
No worries.. Everyone is nervous their first time. A few things to try before coming are:
1) spend extended time alone or with your partner in the nude. Do an activity like gardening, chores, or just talk in the nude.
2) visit a nude beach or resort to get the feel in a larger setting.
3) email us or setup a call with us. We can answer any questions or share experiences.
4) Show up, take a shot of Tequila and say, “screw it, let’s get naked”.
2 Ways:
1) Fill out the form. We will respond. Then, we will do a phone interview. Before you're approved for the group, you must first attend 2 parties in a year and then you're voted on by the group. Click here for the form.
2) Get an invitation to a party from a current member. Then, you must attend 2 parties in a year and then you're voted on by the group.

Our standards aren't high. Just don't be a jackass or bring drama.
There is no photography or videoing allowed. For the privacy and anonymity of the party goers, we do not permit photography or videoing. If someone would like to take a photo, they must have permission from the person being photoed with no one else in the background. Occasionally, we’ll take a group photo, but there is no pressure to be in it and everyone in the photo must consent. Unauthorized photography is a quick way to get kicked out. Don’t be that person.
Single women - yes / single men - no. Unfortunately, there's no politically correct answer to make single men feel good about the answer to this question. Regardless of marital status, all single males must apply and be accompanied by a female partner, spouse or friend . There are quite a few single females in the group and in an effort to protect their privacy and facilitate a safe space to be nude, we do not allow men to be unaccompanied by a female. We maintain a 50% or more female to male ratio at our parties. We encourage single men to apply with their partner, spouse or a female friend. Another option for a single man is to visit a local nude resort. There are 2 in Decatur!!

Through the body your soul becomes visible. It was created by God and because it was created by God, your whole body is inherently good and not shameful. Your body reveals God’s plan and that nakedness without shame is the key for understanding God’s plan for our lives. Nakedness in the Adam and Eve story represents not only actual nakedness but human vulnerability- our ability to be open with each other without fear of being ridiculed or shamed.
If our journey is oriented towards our pre-fallen state, then we should heed the last verse that represents humanity in the Garden just before the fall of man.
”And the man and his wife were both naked, and were not ashamed” (Genesis 2:25)
